We’ve added a feature to automatically filter out carriers if the shipment exceeds their maximum pallet, linear feet, or cube thresholds.
In order for this to apply, you will need to enter thresholds on your applicable LTL carrier agreement. You may need to reach out to your carrier account manager to get this information.
On the Connected Carriers page, click on the agreement name for the LTL agreement you’d like to adjust.
Scroll down to the Shipment Limits section, and add the thresholds provided by the carrier and then click Save.
Now, when creating a shipment in Ship It, the information can be added in the What Items will you be shipping? section.
Click on the corresponding checkboxes to enable the measurement you want to include.
Now, when sending the shipment information to your carriers, the Kuebix system will check those fields against the thresholds entered on your carrier agreement(s), and exclude that carrier if the thresholds apply.
If you do not enter the total linear feet or total cube on the shipment, all carriers will be included in your results.
