Spot Quotes in Kuebix enable you to obtain multiple quotes from multiple carriers without having to call, email, or log into their direct sites individually. In addition to saving you time, there can also be a significant savings in shipping cost when comparing multiple carriers. Here’s how it works:
- You enter your shipment details in Kuebix and choose the carriers, up to 75 at one time, you wish to obtain a quote from
- An email goes out to all your selected carriers
- Your carriers click on a link to access the shipment details and submit their quote details
- You receive an email alert when a bid is submitted
- Your carrier receives an email alert once awarded
Follow these steps to request and book Spot Quotes.
- On the Ship It page, fill in all your shipment information.
- Once all the required fields are filled, click Get Rates.
- On the next page, at the very top, click Post to sent to the community.
- Select the check boxes for the carriers, up to 75, you would like to send a spot quote request to via email. Answer the two questions and click Submit. Once you submit the requests, Kuebix will send email quote requests to each of the carriers selected. The carriers will be able to view the shipment details and provide a rate quote that will send back into Kuebix.
- Once your carrier responds with a quote request, you can access your saved shipment from the Book Your Spot Quote page. Once in Book Your Spot Quote, you can view the rates returned from each carrier by clicking on Results.
- Once you select Results, you can view each carrier, the spot request status, the provided quote amount, and the estimated delivery date. When ready to choose a carrier and rate, click Book next to the rate you would like to choose.
