Default shipment information

There are a number of fields on the Ship It page that can be defaulted to help streamline building shipments in Ship It.

Please look over the options below and let us know at support@kuebix.com which defaults you would like to implement.

A number of these can be set up using the instructions available here: Location Defaults.

Starting with the basic options

The location will be associated with your user profile and can be defaulted to whichever location you prefer.

Shipment Type: LTL, TL, TL Multistop Delivery, TL Multistop Pickup, Parcel.

Payment Type: Outbound Prepaid, Third Party, Inbound Collect, Vendor Delivered, Third Party Collect, Outbound Collect

Carrier Type: Air, Bulk, Flatbed, Intermodal, Ocean, Temp Controlled, Dry Van

Set your Ship From

Pickup Accessorials: Residential, Liftgate Required

Ship From Contact: Set one to show up automatically, or have a list of multiple contacts.

Pickup Instructions: 255 character limit

Options selected will reflect in the additional services field

Line Item-specific information:

Handling Unit: Options are Pallet(s), bag(s), box(es), bulk product, bundle(s), carton(s), container(s), crate(s), cylinder(s), drum(s), pallet(s), roll(s), skid(s), tank(s), tube(s)

Package Type: Options are Bag(s), bale(s), box(es), bucket(s), bundle(s), carton(s), case(s), crate(s), cylinder(s), drum(s), gaylord(s), heavy equipment, loose, msc non-palletized, pail(s), pallet(s), piece(s), reel(s), roll(s), tote(s)

Class:  Choose a valid class for line items

NMFC: Choose a valid NMFC for line items

Pallet Dimensions: these can be saved but will only show up when using Compare Rates.
